Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous for the films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Holly Hunter won many awards which included an Oscar for her movie Piano. Actresses have an extensive experience of performing on Broadway as well as Off-Broadway productions. The art of acting has been a constant love of life. In the fifth grade she portrayed Helen Keller in an original play. Mumps made her lose hearing in one of her ears, but this was not enough to stop the actress from pursuing her dream. In her early years, she took classes in drama at college before moving from Pittsburgh to New York City from Pittsburgh in order to follow her dreams. Hunter was introduced to Beth Henley by chance in an lift. They wrote together Broadway Crimes of the Heart. This was Hunter's acting debut. Her first role in film came when she moved from Los Angeles. She has since appeared in several television series, films as well as movies throughout the span of a 30 year career. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity and she has won Women in Film Lucy Award.
